The north end of Spartan Stadium has a number of issues that need to be addressed. There are just-in-time maintenance needs in the concourse, and the locker rooms need to be upgraded. The stadium currently lacks a formal recruiting space and game-day media space is inadequate.

The planning of this project is anticipated to include repair of structural anchors, pipe supports, and steam equipment within these tunnels, increasing line capacity for high-pressure steam and converting the condensate return from a vacuum system to pressure return.

There are 18 wells supplying the campus with water, most of which are at least 15 years old. Three wells have serious production issues that, coupled with campus demand, necessitate the addition of new production wells to meet demand for domestic water use. This is the first of the required additional wells.
