Butterfield Hall is located on the corner of Michigan Avenue and Harrison Road in the northeast corner of the Brody Complex in the Residential District. This is an additional renovation along with Brody Hall project.

The existing fire and smoke alarm system in the Clinical Center was installed during the original construction in 1976 and is past its expected useful life. False alarms in the building are increasing and creating operational challenges.

Like all major football programs, MSU records practices from a high vantage point. In order to provide a safer environment for videotaping and viewing football practice, the Athletic Department believes it would be best to replace the current scissor lift with a permanent tower.

- Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB) Utility Relocation Phase II

Construction is scheduled to commence in 2012 on the primary building for the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB). Prior to start of this work, the University must relocate utilities to support FRIB in a manner that manages potential timing and staging conflicts between these utility requirements and the ongoing construction of the Cyclotron's High Bay addition.
