Description: The MSU College of Law desires a more prominent and welcoming entrance that would also serve to recognize its history and Detroit origin.
The planning of this project is anticipated to include a new entrance canopy, relocation of two limestone Detroit College of Law friezes (currently inside the building), seating, lighting, pavement and landscape improvements. There will also be an opportunity for donors, who contribute to this project, to be recognized formally within the plaza. It is anticipated that the design changes would impact the campus footprint in this area.
The MSU College of Law is located off of Shaw Lane, at the Bogue Street traffic circle, in the Central Academic District.
